Just in front of Denki gai Exit of Akihabara st., a large yellow eye catching signboard can be seen.
That’s Akihabara Radio Kaikan building.
Opened in 1950 as two-story wooden building Akihabara Radio Kaikan was reconstructed several times and has become as it is in 2014.

Manseibashi Station

Located south of Akihabara, Manseibashi Station is the relic where you can learn about the railroad history in Tokyo.
JR East Japan Group runs the commercial facility using platform and stairs where used to belong to Manseibashi sta.

History of Manseibashi st.

Opened in 1912 as the terminal station of JR Chuo line, Mansei bashi st., was designed by Kingo Tatsuno who designed Tokyo st.
The beautiful red brick station attracted many visitors.
In 1919 JR Chuo line stretched to Tokyo st., from where within walk distance Kanda st and Akihabara st opened.
As a result Mansei bashi st had less presence year by year.
During the WＷⅡ Mansei bashi st became non-essential station and closed in 1943. Then Manseibashi station became the Transportation Museum and MachEcute opened in 2013 utilizing the relics of Manseibashi st.

Kanda Myojin Shirine

Well known as one of the most historical shrines in Tokyo, Kanda Myojin shrine has gathered attention as location of anime, where AKB48 member’s coming of age ceremony was held.
The legal name is Kanda shrine having 1300 years’ history, where the local Shinto deity is enshrined.
There are 580 stone lanterns in the precinct where you can enjoy the fantastic scenery even in the night.

Tokyo Anime Center is Mecca for Japanese anime lovers, where anime is introduced from cultural side.
Anime related events like exhibition, sales promotion and workshops are held using the New AV technology, original picture of anime.
Tokyo Anime Center is Animation Complex Facility moved from Akihabra in Oct 2017.

Street Kart

Street Kart is a sightseeing activity by driving vehicles like go kart on the public road.
For this activity the traveler must have an international driver license or Japan’s driver license.

Note: Street kart is unrelated to Nintendo or Mario kart, so doesn’t provide rental costume of Nintendo Mario series.

VR Ninja Dojo

 

VR Ninja Dojo is Entertainment facility where features Ninja experience in combination of real and virtual activities to the visitors from overseas.
VR Ninja Dojo is designed in Japanese taste from the exterior to interior where the visitors can feel the Japanese uniqueness.
After physical training the visitors challenge full masterships to be qualified as Ninja using VR.
In VR activity the challengers fight with the enemy using sword, dirk and ninja arts.
The observer without VR head set can see the inside of VR room thru the monitor set outside.
